• There are many devices, but only one configurator

  The ELHART configurator is a universal tool for configuring, diagnosing and testing completely different ELHART devices: frequency converters, thermoregulators, weighing modules, humidity and temperature sensors, control valves with a positioner. The configurator allows you not only to set the required parameter values, but also to read the values of the measured signals, turn on and off the outputs of the devices, determine error codes and the number of actuations. The list of supported sensors and devices is constantly updated. It is possible to work with third-party devices.

• Client-server structure

  The ELHART configurator has a client-server architecture thanks to which:
  1) Hardware and computing requirements for adjusters' computers are reduced.
  2) There is no need for COM ports or interface converters for all adjusters. It is enough to install the necessary converters or COM ports on one computer dedicated to the server. The client part of the configurator can communicate with the server over a local network.
  3) Simultaneous operation of several adjusters with different devices on the network is possible.

• Remote connection to configurable devices

  Remote connection to configurable devices is possible both via remote A PC with a configurator server installed, and via RS485-Ethernet interface converters over ModBUS TCP or ModBUS over TCP protocols.

  

• ModBUS address assignment

  The ModBUS address assignment function is designed to automatically assign addresses to devices of the same type that have the same communication parameters, such as address, speed, parity, and number of stop bits. The configurator distributes the necessary addresses of ELHART sensors and devices by modification code and serial number.

• The ability of the configurator to work with devices with different network settings

  For the ELHART configurator to work with devices, it is not necessary that all devices have the same data exchange rate, parity and the number of stop bits. The main working condition is the uniqueness of the addresses of all connected devices.

• Automatic device search on the network

  The configurator has the ability to scan RS-485 networks connected to the server and automatically detect ELHART devices. This feature is useful in cases where the network settings of the devices are unknown.

The configurator is useful for all maintenance specialists using ELHART sensors and devices, without exception.

It is specially designed for configuring ELHART sensors and devices, testing the operation of connected actuators, troubleshooting, for system storage of device settings on the installer's PC, and reducing the start-up time. This is achieved due to the fact that:

1. all parameters are described in detail in words, not in special codes and symbols;
2. all information about device settings is provided in a convenient tabular form;
3. the connection diagram for sensors and devices is always at hand;
4. device settings can be saved in computer memory as a file, which can later be shared with colleagues or clients. In addition, the saved device settings file can be used to quickly copy device settings in similar installations.

Settings storage is available both in an individual format, separately for each device, and in the format of projects formed from groups of selected devices.

Software requirements:

• Windows 7 OS with Service Pack 1 (SP1) (x86 and x64) or higher;
• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 or higher.

Minimum hardware resources:

• Processor with a clock frequency of 1 GHz;
• 1 GB RAM;
• Free space on the storage device is 500 MB.
