Signal converters and splitters with galvanic isolation ENC

Signal converters and splitters with galvanic isolation ENC

ENC signal converters and splitters are designed to provide galvanic isolation, as well as to measure sensor signals (temperature, pressure, humidity, level, flow, position, and more) and convert them into standard current and voltage outputs.

The universal measuring input supports direct connection of resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), thermocouples (TCs), current shunts, standard current and voltage signals, potentiometers, and resistance sensors.

Application: converting and transmitting process parameters from primary sensors to secondary recording, monitoring, and control devices (systems). Used in metallurgy, chemicals, food, mining, processing, and other industries, as well as in utilities and agriculture.

  • Features of ENC converters
    • Universal measuring input supporting 32 types of primary sensors: RTDs, TCs, current shunts, potentiometers, variable resistors, and also standard current signals (−20...20, 0...20, 4...20 mA) and voltage signals (−10...10, 0...5, 0...10 V).
    • Full galvanic isolation of all circuits (input, outputs, power supply, interface) with an isolation test voltage up to 3000 VDC, ensuring the safety of connected equipment.
    • High conversion accuracy: max. basic error limit 0.1% of span.
    • Flexible scaling: supports custom scales and non-standard input/output ranges. This simplifies replacement of sensors with non-standard characteristics without changing controller logic.
    • Multi-point linearization: a custom non-linear relationship between input and output signals (21 points). This is ideal for complex-shaped tanks, non-linear sensors, and specialized transducers.
    • Active and passive current loop connection for both input sensors and output secondary devices.
    • RS-485 interface with Modbus RTU — for advanced configuration, calibration, and diagnostics, and allows to use the signal converter as a high-accuracy analog I/O module in a process control system.
    • Configuration via DIP switches: quick selection of sensor type, measurement range, analog output configuration, and serial interface parameters.
    • Mounting on the T-BUS via a bus connector compatible with Alpha-X series PLCs and I/O modules, which simplifies assembly and maintenance of distributed control systems.
